Devil’s Dozen first opened its doors in October 2015, making life a little bit sweeter (and sinful) in San Diego’s Little Italy neighborhood. As a chef-driven donut shop, we suffer from one of the seven deadly sins — pride — thanks to our delicious, decadent donuts. Working with other San Diego-based businesses, the shop also offers drip coffee, nitro coffee and cold brew from local roasters.

In 2022, we were named @sandiegomag‘s “Best Donut” in the Best Restaurants Specific Dishes category.

Our Process

Executive Chef and Chief Mad Scientist, Brian Redzikowski, spent two years inside his kitchen laboratory perfecting our signature six-ingredient dough. Staffed with a small team, we rise early, baking hourly to ensure donuts stay fresh and flavorful.

Flavors rotate seasonally, but we’re always on the lookout for how to better lead you to temptation. Year round, we bake classic flavors like vanilla, chocolate, and cinnamon-sugared doughnuts, while flavors like pumpkin-glazed donuts appear in the spooky season and brown butter whisky donuts reign supreme on Father’s Day.
